Log in to Visma Sign. Select Create form from the main menu.
NB. You will need to use a computer with mouse and keyboard to edit forms. Touch displays cannot be used for editing forms, but filling and signing works on all devices including mobile phones and tablets.
Form title is visible on the signed form, is used as the file name for signed documents and is also visible in the emails sent by Forms.
Form description is freeform text. You can add bolding, italics and links with formatting buttons. You may leave this blank if there is no need.
Other form fields are dragged with mouse from the left pane to form, anywhere below the form description. You may arrange the fields as required by dragging them with mouse. All field titles are editable, except for Personal ID and email. Fields may include options (required field, checkbox or radio button options etc).
Personal ID – Signers Personal ID (person ID, CPR-nummer etc.) is mandatory for signing.* You may choose to display it on the signed form if necessary via an option on Personal ID field. The ID is never saved in Visma Sign, but is immediately removed after signing. If you choose to display the Personal ID on the final document, please observe data protection rules on handling the document. You may move the field to any spot on the form.
* There may be exceptions in certain countries due to local regulation.
Email - The email field is always visible on the form editor, even if you do not use is on the form. If you choose the option to send a copy of the signed form to the signer, or choose the option to display the signer's email in the signed document, the field will be visible on the form when opened for signing. If neither option is in use, the signer will not see the field. You may move the field to any spot on the form.
Please note that a copy of the signed form can be downloaded by the signer after signing if you choose to display the standard "signing successful" message, or a custom message. If you choose to direct the signer to a web address (URL) there is no download link. Make sure you provide a way for the signer to get one's own copy. In all cases a copy will be saved to the signer's personal Visma Sign Archive, and can be retrieved by the signer by registering to Visma Sign (free of charge for private persons).
If you want to force the signer to check a box before being able to proceed to signing, please add a checkbox field with only a single option, and make it a required field. For instance accepting terms and conditions may be made explicit this way.
If you want to add links or formatted text on the form, please use a display text field. You may italicize, bold and add links via the formatting button. All links will be opened in a new browser tab.
You may also save the form for later publishing by unchecking the Published -checkbox and saving the form. You may publish the form at any time by returning to edit the form and checking the Published checkbox.
